AFC-SplitSecond PSC1 Map Library

i dont think there's a way to calibrate the boost gauge...

in the other hand, just get another one, check and see if it give syou the same reading. if it does...then the AFC is to blame...

its a stewart warner

i have the same reading as you at idle with my stewart warner gauge. if you read around, alot of people share this reading with the stewart warner gauge. i dont know what the deal is but it is a hair off.

i hooked up a vacuum gauge just to check my idle in comparison to the stewart warner, and i pulled -21 vs. -18 that my sw gauge was showing.

Thats wierd, well is boost reading right thats my main concern lol.

Yeah so the unit i got was bad.....wouldn't even power up with direct battery power and ground. Waiting for a new one :)

Could people with their wb02 logging to the AFC post some of their logs? I'm trying to get an idea of how everyones fuel curve looks and when enrichment starts.

Once I figure out an efficient way to print the datalog (currently only prints to my printer and I would have to scan it) I will post some up. I've just started modifying the SuperMap to fit my needs. It actually was pretty good - just a tad lean at lower RPM and too rich from about 5200 RPM and up.

Did a quick in-thread search but it was of no help to me... I'm just wondering if the stock supermap is good for only unflashed ECUs or is it alright to use with flashed as well? Any changes that should be made to the map to use with a flashed ECU? Thanks.

You'll be fine with the stock supermap. I think Mazda just added a little timing w/ the flash, but not enough to get you into trouble. In my car, the stock supermap kept my afrs in the high 10's up to the mid 11's.{I'm flashed) Still some room for error.

I have the AFC V2, mods are:

Full turbo back exhaust
Injen CAI
Corksport FMIC
Walbro Fuel Pump
440cc Injectors

Forged Internals with 8.5:1 compression
Thunder Manifold

It's just to get me by for a while till i can get the stand alone.

please someone help me out!!!

thank you kindly

Sooo.. this is an alternative until I may be able to get my Microtech? I'm going to 550's along with the basics of what S.A.MSP has.. not the same but similar.

Jen,

The car won't idle on 550's without a full standalone. The stock ECU can tune around 440's, but 550's are too much for it.
