AFC-SplitSecond PSC1 Map Library

hhmm. interesting. thanks for the info I will investigate.

I got the wrong version of windows 7. Sucks balls on one hand but on the other my pop's owns a computer shop so maybe we can work something out.

i had a suggestion in my long post on how to do it without a higher version of 7, try that out first. even though i have professional 7 i use my other method because you run less programs doing it that way

and for those of you who dont, try this i have done it and it works. right click on the R4 program and select properties, and then the compatibility tab, then select 'Run this program in compatibility mode for:' then select "Windows XP Service pack 3" and BAM, done.

thanks alot thecrash91! Hopefully I'll have a good map written in time for my trip to florida. If only I could get these guys to ship my new parts and s*** a tad faster lol:)

I am using my work laptop which is has Windows 7 enterprise, so I had to install windows XP mode, windows VM, and an XP mode update to use on machines without hardware VM acceleration.

Works great, but it was a 500mb download and a fairly length install.

BTW, this thread has got retarded huge. Are there any screen shots of maps in here? I don't have an SSAFC. I have an FIC and want to compare O2 maps. I can't open the maps on this thread with just the SS R4 software installed. Even in demo mode it gives me an error when I try to open them.

Thanks.

Some one please post a tune for a GT28RS FMIC and stock injectors on low boost and relocated MAF
PLEASE an upgraded DP would be great too but I doubt anyone has a 3" DP with my set-up.

yep I haven't seen a new map post in a while. when it stops snowing, I plan on putting on my fmic relocating the maf and tuning but I don't have a gtt28rs yet:)

Hey whats goin on i was just wondering specifically which afc ya'll bought the PSC1-002... or the PSC1-003??

whatever maps you see in this thread are the only maps on here. You can try some of those maps or just start tuning a base map for your specific setup and since everyone has different setups and mods, your car will not react the same as it would on the car it was originally tuned for. I would just load up the supermap and use that as a starting point and go from there

^ the only thing is i wont have a wideband as soon as i install.. i might just wait till i have the wideband, thats the smart thing to do i suppose

so i downloaded the r4 software so that i could start playing with it while my ftc is being shipped... i am trying to download the "super stock" map on the first page of this thread. after i download it like to my documents or wherever, how do i open it using the software so that i can edit/view it? would someone please just jot down a quick step by step for me so i can try to figure it out?

sorry, but i didnt quite notice... are these maps for the ftc as well?

You will notice that while writing maps to the AFC, it "loads" two maps, Map A and Map B. Map A is the fuel map and Map B would be the timing map on the AFC if it was timing equipped. So, on the FTC, Map B is the timing map. Other than that, they should be exactly the same
