A carbon fiber trunk

Now I know ViS made a carbon fiber trunk, but the only pic I saw was a cf trunk that had the blue thing in the center by where the keyhole is. Are there any carbon fiber trunks that are completely carbon fiber? without that small part of fiberglass?

If you can hold off for a couple of months ardmp5 and his company AutoRnD will be doing a group buy on a carbon fiber trunk and possibly wing from fiber images which is real good quality i have the black/blue carbon kevlar hood from them..

What makes you think that part is fiberglass? I would imagine that guy just painted that part to set off all the carbon fiber. I would have done the same if I was keeping my car.

By the way... VIS sucks. I will never buy anything from them. I'm glad to year FI is making more parts for the Protege.

If I remember correctly, it did come with the center piece C/F, but he said he used the blue one.
I will be first on the list for the Fiber Images Carbon trunk lid. Can't wait!(dance)

Could you post a pic of the hood on your car for me? I would really like to see how it looks. Also are they still offering the hood because I know they had a gb back in the day.

Is FI definetly making a cf trunk for us? If so then I will hold off for that.

the trunk does come with a C/F peice I just used the stock one to break up the C/F like sonic said

Not to take anything away from Fiber Images, (I have their hood and love it) but there is a thread started for interest in a trunk lid from JSP. If nothing else, more competition is better for us.
