6 cd charger

Hi guys. I have a Mazda protg 5 stock. There is a cd radio system. Is it a 6 cd chargers? Can I put 6 cds in it?

You will only have the 6 disc changer if you got that option. If there is a button on the upper left corner that says LOAD then you have the changer. If not, then you have the single CD one. Hope this helps.

How do you charge a CD anyway? Last time I checked, they didn't have batteries.

6 CD Changer

As Mike stated there is a "LOAD" button in the upper left of the indash 6 CD stereo. The display will show you how many CDs are loaded and there is a select button that will let you index through them to pick which CD you want to play,or eject.
Now there is a bit of a drawback to this setup, not bad, but worth knowing about. The unit shuffles the stack to select the disk you want and this can take some time (the more CDs loaded, the longer the shuffle may take). Plus, you also have to remember which CD is which, as the unit doesn't display the artist or title of the CD. After 5 months, the unit hasn't jammed once and my wife (it's her car for now) plays the stereo like a DJ. Jim
