look at chooo! comein out of left field with the msp goodies.

(evil)

.. You waited till after I got my PG manifold on purpose. :(

:p

Material didn't get here yet, was hoping it would be at my door yesterday. :( Maybe tomorrow, and then I can get started after all the family stuff.

Merry Christmas everyone, I'll have an update mid-week.

would it be something like the sr motorsports mani? I was thinking about buying it but I guess they are not made anymore. I have a 626 mani but never installed it. guess I will see what becomes of this before I do.

Similar, mine will have shorter runners and be a lot sexier looking though. (wink)

Will the throtle body be in the same spot and will it have all the fittings or are some things going to be deleted?

Glad to see there will be another option out there for intake manifolds for our cars. I would be really interested in an NA Version

There will be fittings for vacuum lines, and the EGR will be a add-on option. The TB is going to have to move a little, but it will be an easy mod for anyone with hardpipes. Won't have to move the battery or anything major.

If anyone is thinking about running this intake manifold before upgrading to hardpipes, get your priorities straight. :)

That's what I was curious about mostly. All the people that have specific MSP hard pipes will be upset, of course nothing a hack saw and a different clamp can't fix but some people are very picky.

What does this do to the powerband? More mid grunt or just top end power?

Some one should do dynos vs stock and PG IM :)

I am making it as close as possible, but it can't be in the stock location because that would put it almost directly beneath runner 1. The plenum would have to be shaped differently, and the performance gains would be hindered. Performance and flow wise, it's going to be better to put the TB on the end of the plenum, so that's how I'm going to do it. The only modification will be to cut the end of the cold pipe off and replace it with a 90* coupler.

If we did the flow analysis right, I am hoping that we'll see mid and top end gains, without much low end loss. Testing will be done vs stock and 626 manifolds. :)

That wont be a problem for me, I'm just saying for you and sales wise. Good luck, hopefully this will make it to market soon.

Yeah, I am hoping that most of the people who are in the market for it won't mind the minor modding to the pipe. Not expecting a ton of sales anyway, just want to get it out there since there is nothing for us really in this department.

Good luck, hopefully this will make it to market soon.

Thanks man.

subbing... big time interested... would it be possible to have 8 injectors and N20 injection so a total of 12 fittings in this? or will it not go with the design?

Because it sounds quite over the top and un-neccessary for nearly any setup you can throw at our FS engines short of bulding a Full out Drag car.

Well...........basically what he said. but If you want to pay for something like that, Im sure this guy could handle it. Dont expect the production model to be a 12 injector setup though........

having 4 primary injectors with 4 auxiliary injectors is not only for a drag car. if you are tuning with a extra injection controller or possibly the smt-6, this is a viable situation.

you keep the 4 primaries, then you run one extra injector per runner so that the distribution of fuel is consistent.

but anyways, back on topic...

^^ mspHTOWN , so the smt-6 didn't work on the MSP ECU or you don't have a MSP ???I see on youre mod list lx ecu , thats why ? how much you got that one for ??End of threatjacking.

You forgot the 4 for nitrous..Ya know...because the Four Secondaries you already would haveWOuldnt be aanough when you decide to hit the juice.....(dunno)

He just sound like he talking out of his butt trying to sound like he needs something outrageous.

I can see the need for 8 injector ports....Thats fine..But 12...GTFO of here...Thats just talkin' out of your rear for the same of trying to sound cool.

He's welcome to refute my accusation..but he better come with a serious plan of attack on how and why he needs 12 injectors vs. 8.
Until then..he's a poser. (headshake

He just wants the manifold pre-drilled for the NO2 fittings. Not like he can just drill any good spot of the manifold for free. 8 injectors and 4 no2 nozzles 12 fitings.
