you and the damn radioactive materials!!! well your job sounds exciting also! just sucks its going to be like 9 years until you get to see what it can do. i saw that launch...was still living in FL from the storm when it went up. my g/f lives so close we could see it easily from her backyard

Haha I wasn't able to go with my coworkers to the Cape, but I heard there were a lot of protestors at the launch. I will hopefully be down for the next launch, I haven't seen one in person yet. Yeah the 9 years suck too, I wonder if I will still be here then.
 
well yea, but the next one will be great too! i wish they would still launch at night...that was probably the most beautiful thing ive ever seen...other than my girl of course

They launched the Messenger right before I started, but I have a night liftoff poster pic at my desk. If I could use a camera at work I would take a pic.
 
sweet...yea i didnt get a desk...well i have one in the lab...i just got a huge ass lab with a bunch of expensive toys!!! hehe...might use some of the stuff to machine and cut some custom pieces for my car...

Occupation: Highschool student, working at a grocery store, studing to become and auto tech and get ASE certified and loving it. I'll probably go off to school after highschool as well. :-)
 
Here I am keeping this thread alive.

Age 24. Almost done to with school to be and airplane mechanic, owner of a 2003 Protege LX and still paying for, yuck.

Occupation: Student, finishing up a Civil Engineering Technology course this year.

I'll design the mechanical aspects of a building, being HVAC/Lighting/Plumbing/etc.
