2003 LX
well i had a three day weekend so i thought id take advantage of it and went to my dads to use his garage.

(pics 1-3) saturday. fabrication of fg mp3 holder. this was my first experience with fiberglassing with sharp curves. Its looks turned out alright i think but functionality is A+, no longer will my mp3 player be sliding all over the place

(pics 4-6) sunday. cai install and removal of side moldings and badges. The cai install is basically appearance since i already had a sri in place..sounds a little meaner as well. LX sticker removed. side moldings removal was a freakin chore.. the first front mold took me about 30 minutes to get clean, once i got the hang of it though it was easy and took about 2 hours not including wax and buffing.

(pics 7-9) monday. temp gauge replacement, blue door light and radio pocket. I broke the needle on my temp gauge a while back and finally got a replacement. popped that right in and changed the door ajar light to blue. (also fixed the brightness on the "x1000/rpm" text) while washing her up i recieved a package, my din pocket w/ door (thanks to yourfather_luke) through that sucker in and headed over the mountain passes for home.

all in all im pretty tired

pics 6-9 in next post

well i had the frame (two dowels and two wood discs) ready when i started so it took about 5 hours after that. lot of sanding and shaping of fiberglas and bondo.

i have an LX so the interior used to be black with sparkles, painted the center parts silver and the sides of the radio bezel are gunmetal matching the mp3 holder. the door switches are also matched

thanks for the compliments
