. Same as you, I plan to keep it for a long time. Is this your first diesel or have you driven diesels before?
Have you by chance been doing any used oil analysis (UOA)? Free maintenance from Mazda for 30k miles?
I've bought some things ahead of time to keep on my shelf since dealers likely don't keep unicorn parts in stock ... Oil, oil filter, air filter, fuel filter. We don't get much arctic cold temps in cincinnati but I have a couple bottles of diesel fuel winter treatment on the shelf as well.(I keep a fuel filter & diesel treatment with me actually in the car.)
I've been enjoying 32.5mpg for average life travels (commuting and runnin' around) and 35.5 mpg for straight up highway travel. So, as expected, much better than advertised
