2014 CX-5 Map deals?

Are there an deals on the TomTom maps for the NB1 system? All I see are the yearly option at $80.

Any lifetime options or discounts?

Seems pricey to me considering most standalone GPS units provide Free lifetime maps.

Might find a promotional deal every so often but it won't be great. Good luck.

Just as my free trial was expiring I was offered a one-year sub with a one quarter sweetener for half off ($39.98 for 15 months). Just after that expired I was offered a 40 percent discount ($47.97), but no sweetener (only 12 months). If you haven't been offered a discount, I would call them and ask for one.

The new maps aren't any better than the old ones Yesterday I was trying to get around an accident and a forest fire and the Tom tom map with all of it's paper roads that "may" get cleared someday is useless. There was a story in Popular Science today on how to hack your nav system with a old smart phone. That has to be better than Tom-tom!
