2013 Mazda CX-5 Auto Fold Side Mirrors?

Hi all.
How can I enable side mirrors to auto fold when vehicle is locked and unfold when vehicle is unlocked? I currently have to turn the knob to achieve this manually.

Such feature (folding side mirrors) were not available to US customers until close to 2020 models. However, I recall seeing someone sells a kit to achieve what you want to do.
Search online a bit for your 2013 model.

Just to be clear, if you turn the control knob all the way clockwise the mirrors actually fold in? And for sure it's a 2013? Folding mirrors were a much later addition, at least in the US. I don't know about other countries though.

I knew for a fact that, in 2016 when I acquired my Mazda6,
Mazda6 sold in Asian countries had auto-folding mirrors.
Not sure about 2013 CX5, though.

Yes most more luxury cars sold in Asia and Europe feature the auto-folding mirrors due to the narrower street and tight parking space. But in US Mazda doesn’t offer such feature until 2019 MY on CX-5.

Consider the history of problems on Mazda’s auto-folding mirrors, it’d be better off not to have such feature or just turn them off on our CX-5.
