New to the forums with a new to me 2013 cx5!
On my drive home I realized that the manual shift was not being sensed when the shifter was moved to the side. Moving it up and down wouldn’t change gears and it still displayed “D” on the trans menu.
If I toggled the gear shifter side to side I could see the menu change to “M6” but when I let the shifter rest in the manual position it would go back to “D”.
I haven’t seen any forums on this issue, sorry if I missed it. Seems like some kind of position sensor issue? Just replaced the park shift sensor and that works wonderfully now, just would like to be able to use manual mode! TIA
