Mavs are sick right now....i can only applaude.
Yao is supposed to return this monday against the Cavs, but im sure it'll be just a few minutes in the first half. Now we shall see how the Rockets respond with big guy back in the line-up.....and of course get injury prone Bonzi Wells back...

They are hot right now,but alot of them are by the skin of there teeth. They can keep on going with the best record,but not the team with the best record always wins the big one. I think they are at thier at the peak...too soon before the playoffs. They will have too much confidence going into the playoffs and start sliding,complaining,pointing fingers then panik will set in cause they are losing. Which,as you can see, they are not used to this season. All is going too right for them and it will start falling apart.txmzdspd2gen said:

You obviously don't know anything about Avery Johnson's philosophy. Everyday he has these guys pressing hard. They don't take it a game at a time, they take it a day at a time. They know they messed up last year, and I guarantee you their meltdown won't happen again. They understand their strengths, they know their weaknesses and with 20 games left in the season they will work to fix a majority of those issues.
You're right the team with the best regular season doesn't always win, I'm a Colts fan I know this.

Yao's back Monday, so nothing else matters 
Avery played for the spurs. He learned alot of what he does from coach pop. That's why they play the Spurs so well....Avery knows how POP thinks. I think it's great that Avery has done so well as a coach,but you do have to know that the good luck has to come to a halt at sometime. Better now than in the playoffs.Iamgoodyy said:

Yao & Tmac played like crap in the first half.....Tmac has no excuse though. We played very well in the second half, but got horrible calls and no calls on our end that may as well cost us the game in the remaining 3 minutes.

Coach Pop may have been the coach of avery for along time but like every good teacher and coaches for that matter knows that you dont tell everyhting to your students. Theres still this reservations for oneself.
THe thing that sucks is that we are playing today(tuesday) and wont play again till next week i think. Darn, im gonna be bored at home if Mavs not on TV.
