My 2006 Tribute (33k miles) has a lot of rattling underneath when hitting bumps. It sounds like plastic hitting and I can't tell which direction it is coming from. I don't have access to a lift and don't feel like going to a mechanic if I can help it. Where should I start my investigation? Is there a plastic part(s) that commonly become loose on this vehicle?
