still has the ugly wrx rear end. looks like a ghetto booty. the rear bumber sticks out way too far. looks the same as the W, with some saaby add ons.

Close? I wouldn't say a $2700 price difference close at all. That's a premium of over 10% just for the Saab badge?.. that's actually owned by GM? No thanks. I would rather get the WRX and $2700 worth of upgrades... or pay my insurance for a year.

I know subarus are, but like I said, that's a very different car from the subarus, and not all saabs are AWD.

besides the visual it is a subaru wrx mechanically. the only differences are in the interior, some body parts(only the front fascia and rear skirt) it has different shock rates, wheels,tires. the only main mecahnicall differnce is in the steering gear ratios and the rack....slighty dif than wrx. has slightly better handling from what ive read but is slower due to the weight gain.

If I have to choose between the Subrau WRX and the Saab 9-2X, I may actually choose the Saab version. Its quieter and cheaper in insurance while retaining the same power as the subie version.
