GrAsShOpPeR2k said:ok so first you guys say they suck because of the stock HP.
Then they suck because the supercharger only gives 50hp??
Then they suck because they can't handle FI.
Then they suck because they are too expensive..
So, I have proven all of this wrong.
1. My supercharger: pre install benchmark WHP 152 Post install WHP 272. So that's what... a 120 WHP inrease so that's out.
2. I am running 6psi. Others are running 15psi.. All on STOCK internals. So the can't handle FI is out.
3. Expensive? MSRP for an 04 is 18739 minus a 2000 dollar manufacturer rebate puts us at 16739. Too expensive? Brand new now... 10 year 100K warranty. Not fast enough right. Ok, so invest in some headers (300$), then the blower (4000$). That's it. So for 21039$ you will have nearly 300 hp at the wheels. Install it for another 1000 and your done. Show me another car where for 22,000 you will have 300 HP at the wheels? NEW, not used.
So after all this... and being proven wrong with every complaint... now all you guys can say is they suck or they're gay. Figures. I would have expected better but oh well.
Lawrence Marshall Dodge is offering $4,000 off MSRP on SRT-4's right now. What are you talking about 21k? Hahah, closer to 18k...GrAsShOpPeR2k said:First, I never said hyundai was the best. Nor did I say everyone has to like it. I was simply correcting a few mistakes that were said in the thread. That's it. I am not saying one is better than the other, or anything like that.
Also, an Srt4 is 21, not 20. don't forget about installation. Here is what I think of the SRT4... The video is on the bottom of the page.. SRT-4 vs SC tiburon. http://www.cheesefrog.com/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownload&cid=1
Whatever, drive to Houston. They've been running that price for weeks.GrAsShOpPeR2k said:replica... I am going of manufacturer websites here. Look up the prices. Then talk to me. If one specific dealer is offering an incentive.. then so what. Like I said, he can GIVE THE CAR AWAY FOR FREE if he wanted to now couldn't he.
What? It doesn't cost $4,000 to get across the US, even the WORLD for that matter. Hahah.GrAsShOpPeR2k said:Drive to Texas? WTF is wrong with you people? How can you compare prices of two cars if you are going to quote a price from one specific dealer?
The only way anyone would be able to get that is to go there... which would cost you just as much as you are saving depending on where you are traveling from. WHy not just stick to MSRP on dodge.com and MSRP on hyundaiusa.com Keep the playing field even... Otherwise I will just say well at joe schmoe hyundai I can get a tiburon for 5k off msrp. You guys love to compare apples to oranges don't you. By the way, what is the stock WHP on the mazda? I heard it was something like 139?
Yeah, I think they're pretty beefy. I think the Eaton blown Tibs are really neat but I'm certainly not going to praise it as highly as the tiberon sack riders in this thread. The 312whp with 15 PSI on a V6 is kinda sad, AND it needed to spray for a high 12? Eh, I'd rather buy a honda and do it cheaper...mp5jeff said:dont the tibs v6 version also weigh over 3100 lbs? or around that...
