Anybody have any touble with upstream o2 sensor clearance on the clutch master cylinder? because the cylinder was wearing a hole in the wire insulation and my car would die, because it would blow my engine fuse. I got a temporary fix, but does anybody have any solutions? Why the heck did OBX put that strange angle on the o2 bung?! it would have fit perfectly if it just went straight in.

i only have one 02 sensor in my header now, you only need one since you don't have a cat anymore.

but remember to fully screw in the O2 sensor first then install the header, it should work out much better that way.

yeah, but the wires need to be a certain lenght to get an accurate voltage... and the one that is supposed to be before the cat is the important one. and that is the one that is hitting my clutch master cylinder. otherwise I'd just splice into the lower one.... maybe that would work?!?! plus it throws a CEL if you dont have both. I have a non fouler made... but I think that my downstream o2 sensor is bad because the only reason I decided to buy the header was because my cat was bad. I think it got fouled up.

I'm almost about to just take the CMC off and grind it down.... I should prolly grab a spare... just in case.

Dude ive had this EXACT Same problem since putting in my OBX. kept blowing that damn fuse. I've looked around for answers and no one really has any except to replace the OBX with a different brand header, or seal the bung and re-drill it. Have you managed to grind down that cylinder so the sensor will fit without melting?

when i installed my obx header i have the same problem i grinded it down some where it fits but my wires r splicing and i'm throwing cel p0171 running to lean bank 1 just wondering if my o2 sensor could be causing that code becuz of the wires being frayed

how much do ya think one could get away grinding? like i dont want to puncture anything

actually.. Its the slave cylinder... and I decided to not try and grind it. I'm trying to see what Ken at PG will charge me to re-locate the bung... It just seems like an all around easier option. plus tomorrow is payday. This universal o2 Sensor I have been using is such a piece of s***, though. and it already ruined the OEM one. I cant imagine it being to costly to relocate the bung. I'd do it myself, but a.) I cant weld stainless and b.) stainless is reallllllly hard. haha
