16 Inch Tirerack Steelies fit? (Without spacers?)

Do the 16 Inch Tirerack Steelies fit?

Without spacers?

I've seen threads with and without. I don't want to run any spacers.

I've seen people say they ordered 16" steelies from tirerack and they fit fine, I've seen other people say they bought 16" steelies other places and they didnt clear, I would call tirerack to make sure but I believe as long as you get the correct offset you should be fine.

yea i was the one that had purchased steelies from tire warehouse, don't know if its down in PA or not but don't get them from then. They don't clear.


But ya I have heard the Tirerack ones fit fine.

I'm running 16" steelies I got from TireRack with a +55 offset and they JUST clear the front calipers. It's tight but works fine.

With the wheel that close do you get any issues with heat from the brakes?

I believe that the guy that had the clearance issue bought 17" steelies that had the wrong offset.

I don't track the car and if I did, you can be sure I won't be running my winter tires & wheels while doing so, so no, I don't have any "heat" issues with the brakes and neither should 100% of the ppl who run the same setup that I have.

Funny, I called TR and 1 rep told me nope no steelies for the MS3. Call back 10 minutes later and the new REP told me yup they will fit just fine but don't have them in stock. Then I go online to order them and they have them. So needless to say just buy them and if it doesn't fit return them.

yeah the steelies from tr fit just fine just put them on today baught them on monday soo just go with it i havent had any problems with them

I have 16" steelies from tirerack and they fit and work perfectly.....with dunlop winter 215/55/16 tire

I've been running mine for over a month now.

55+ offset (16x6.5 5-114 et55) w/ 205/60/R16

I've got 16" steelies from Discount Tire. They fit....kind of. The calipers cleared, but it's such a close fit that they actually had to grind off any weld spatter and the places where the weld wasn't completely flush to the wheel. After that, they fit fine and I'm dominating a chicago winter with my Winter Sport 3d's.

Anybody have a similar problem with Discount Tire's steelies?
