$150 ticket for "squealing tires" and illegal tint-List b**** tickets here

Also had crossed my mind. There were more things he could have gotten me on actually....just had to pick (find) something. No front plate = illegal in OH. I will fix that when my new plates come in.

Speaking of making money for the city. No front plate = $80. (From what I have heard). I have an excuse though, bought the car with no plate holder....one is in the mail.....

I got a $250 ticket for my tint. Here's the kicker, when I got pulled over they said I drove by them and my exhaust sounded "funky" and they could tell my tint was illegal. My windows were down!?!? wtf? I got off the exhaust cause I had a leak....it was the day after I put on my apex catless downpipe. Got lucky there. The cop that pulled me over was sitting behind my car after school waiting to pull me over. bulls***....it's all good though, I fought it and won. No worries.

Just like my tint. I tell them that I am a vampire and then I show them my hidden firearm with the silver bullets inside, thats for the werewolves. Then when they try to cuff me I turn into a bat and fly away.

I got a ticket for no front plate. 40 bucks here in NJ. The excuses don't work with all cops. Also, kudos for you for taking a step back to look at the situation. This thread could have gone south very easily but you took the comments like a champ.

Yea, I understand there no need to start s*** on a thread. Everybody puts their 2 cents on the table. How people voice their opinion and how people accept others opinions make the difference between war and...well no war.

I got pulled over for having blue l.p. lights, I thought any light was sufficant as long as you could see the plate?? and a warning for my eywbrow being more than 5 inches its 6 inches!! it was 135 for unapproved equipment then the trooper tried to make small talk with me by asking me where i got the car......... by this time I was pissed, so I told him not to ******* worry about it and give me the ******* ticket! then they always give you that "have a good night".. **** you very much sir!!!!!

speaking of exhaust I have just a 3in pipe and it sucks. Pass cops daily and they dont even look. I mean this thing is loud. Waiting on replacement muffler after mine got knocked lose by a bad dip in the entrance at a resturant and decided to fly off at 60mph on the highway before I had a chance to look at it.

Fight the ticket. The citation is all based on opinion. I could make a mad dash across the street like a track star. Thats an exhibition of speed. Theres no basis on which the pig can base his claim. Fight it and case dismissed. Make sure to do a jury trial. b/c the judge is biased and unless you know how to disprove the cops testimony you'll lose.

Not worth my time or vacation day, they can have my meeslie $150. Maybe they can buy that skinny cop a meal. Plus, they way I look at it I am lucky. I have other s*** on my car to get busted for. No need to hate....I know damn well the tint is illegal. s***... sometimes at night I can't see out of my side-view mirror. *rolls window down* Oh well it will help win shows and the looks of many...which makes up for it all.

BTW (off topic) - I was talking to my buddy and I guess this coming weekend is Hot Import Nights at the IX center in Cleveland, OH. Anyone ever heard of or been to this? He's got trophys out his ass.....not like he needs any more!

If you dont fight these tickets, it just tells the court that they can continue harassing driviers of tuner vehicles. Therefore the bulls*** ticketing continues. Pay an attorney $150 to fight it instead. I rather give them money than the stupid cops and city.

Contrary to popular belief, we DO NOT make money from the tickets. Yes, the city gets a small percentage, but the fine is usually small and the court costs is what kills you. Example: speeding fine, $25 - court costs , $75. Education Dept gets the money from the fine, the county gets the money from the court costs. There are no quotas either.... it's against the law to actually require law enforcement officers to net a certain $$$ or number amount of tickets in this state. And if my salary gets paid by tax dollars, I'd like a raise if thats not asking for too much. lol

And nope.. havent caught a murderer or made a drug bust that netted $1 million yet. I just love shows like CSI, Court TV and COPS. lol
