Dean is the guy the the Black Mazdaspeed that Modern Performance built up, that was recently dynoed to nearly 400 horsepower. Ran a 13.56 with a 106 I believe, spnning throughout first and second...

He trapped 106 with "400 horsepower"? Something is wrong there... you don't need more than 260whp to pull off that trap. Spinning doesn't have much effect on that speed either. Though it indicates he is capable of 12s.

try launchin the car at 15psi with the stock tires worn out. after you try that at the track get with me(launched at 2000rpm no traction 1,2,half of 3)...oh yea when you get a trap of 105mph or higher get with me as well.

Been ther done that..I dont doubt you are pushing more HP,but its not getting to the ground...My car also smokes right through 1,2, and part of three.I know the feeling and it sucks that these cars have no traction.And BTW,I have trapped 103 but yet it wasnt on my best time...Best time trap was 101...I'm obviously not far off.The post was meant as sarcasm and was also meant in a joking way...I hate the net...Everyone gets bent out of shape and so much is lost in typing text...Didnt mean any disrespect..sorry if you saw it that way.I have been behind you since day one so dont give me s***..I am just playin with ya!

12's will be difficult with the weight of the car 2930lbs with driver measured after the last race.

Have you thought about stiffer rear springs? I know the springs on the MSP are soft, especially the rears. The resulting weight transfer can't be helping things.
