1/4 mile time with Unichip

yeh its on sunday its a tekademics show hey john you need an exhaust man down pipe too will make a hell of alot of power dude ive had mine dynod at 227 whp and 236 tq. at 11 psi 2 runs on dyno thats all iwanted to do i drove it pulled only 3rd gear no 4th gear pull.
 
wheather conditions were almost identicle 73 and 87 humidity and second time 72 with 100 humidity.
 
yeah i figured that exhaust might be why im having problems in map b. thats my next mod next month.
 
it is possible its the plugs john . might explain the hesi in map b
agree about exhaust thing . im pretty broke i wanted to do somethign nice the first time.
but i might break down and grab a DP/cat back for cheap and deal with it

John i have the apex dp no cats full 2.5 exhaust custom and i kept the stock muffler already straight through didnt want the loud ass noise. the hi boost kit is nice very easy install. If you want a clean look i suggest cut the bumper to make it look very clean. i will send pics. it took me a few weeks to get everything tuned the way i like it. and then i put it on the dyno. after tuning it a place in va beach did the tuning. no afc tuning i was impressed by this dude he also tuned my buddies civic si it put down 303 whp on pump gas.16 psi t4 turbo. then he tuned it on race gas and it put 411 whp. this guy is very good. hope it all works out for you man keep us filled in
 
yea john, exhaust is def your best bet. Notice your tourqe #'s are up plenty. You'll see a lot more power and top end with the chip tuning you have.
 
yeah i was kinda stumped about my whp in comparision to the torque seems like the hp would be alot higher.
 
i bought the unichip because i intially had problems with the plugs fouling after putting a j-pipe with mil eliminator on.
 
Are you sure your vehicle is operating correctly? If you are fouling spark plugs after only freeing up exhaust flow sounds to me like you may have a problem. If anything you should stop fouling plugs after freeing up the exhaust. 14.9's is pretty slow, I would've guessed somewhat faster with the unichip........You need to make sure your car is up to snuff before worrying about 1/4 mile times.

what shop did you take your car to? im located in the nova area.

I haven't had any problems with the plugs since i took the j-pipe and mil eliminator off.
