do you know how long for our car to take from 0 to 100?
it said it require 11.9 sec.. for automatic
but i tried..it's not that slow
it's faster
anyone tried?

According to the current Motor Trend article comparing Mazda Protege5, Toyota Matrix and Subaru WRX wagon I believe they had the P5 with the 5-speed manual at 8.8 0-60 mph.

Oops... didn't read your post carefully enough. You're from even further up north than us Minnesotans so you probably wanted 0-100 kph, not 0-60 mph. So sorry my northern friend...

it is the same speed 60mph = 100kph

yeah...it's pretty close...100kph=62mph

i was actually surprised that motortrend pulled out a 8.82 0-60 because every review i've read so far has said 9.5-10...of course motortrend was probably rervving high and dropping the clutch...something which i don't plan on doing(very often)...so i'd probably say that on average we'd be getting high 9s
