I would like to take this opportunity to commend BlueBatMobile (Andrew) on a first-rate product with his latest vinyl overlay project - Headlight overlays for the Mazda Protege 2001+. I bought the pair for $10 shipped, and it arrived immediately. In case you can't tell, these vinyl overlays cover only the amber reflector of the headlight (Protege 5 owners are lucky they don't have to deal with it). I must say that this is the best option for a clean look without resorting to opening up the headlight housing to paint it. Enjoy the pics, and if you're interested in the overlays you can PM BlueBatMobile, or email him at dubbleA@peoplepc.com.

His Web site is http://www.BlueBatMobile.com.

Looks good, I sent in my check last Thursday so I hope to get mine soon :)

The overlays come with a nice little instruction sheet, which mentions the vinyl is premium seven-year high-performance material, so it should last a very long time.
I can post more pics upon request. :)

can you post a pic of the whole car with the overlays in them? i wanna see how it looks as a whole, thanks

I've got my overlays...I'll post pics this weekend.

Bluebatmobile has great quality overlays and awesome service. (2thumbs)

goku4658 - When I took pics with the flash on, it looked stock. So, yes the reflectors are still functional.

I want smoked tail light overlays for the sedan next!

thanks markspark, i have clear housing headlights though, so..will it stand out way too much?
I think it would look great. Anything is better than that exposed
amber reflector(piss)

oops...sorry i was thinking of blue cause of the company name lol, my question is, what color was it before you put it on?

what I like about them is they don't look like you slapped some vinyl, it still looks like they have depth, just not annoying yellow color

and it will look even better on black ;)

....And yet another sucessful overlay by my cuz.I'm also with batmang, red eyelids are what I want my next overlay will be.

It looked like a transparent black when I took the backing off. Attached is a pic.
