is there really a twin turbo kit for the z?

www.greddy.com

Oh yes my friend. HKS is developing one. Top Secret has one. Greddy's should be out for sale very soon. I actually have pics from SEMA of Greddy's twin turbo G35 coupe.

Here ya go!

Its worth the wait. Also the aftermarket support for the Z has rocketed in just a short time. The RX8 aftermarket will be good, but nothing like the Z's due to the rotary. If you want an RX8, wait for the Mazdaspeed version.

The Mazdaspeed RX8 isn't COMING, it's already here...in the form of the $3000 body kit & the equally expensive suspension package. That's all it is...there is NO performance difference with the MS-RX8. If you want power, check out the T04E kit that is supposed to yield 400+whp:

What is so great about the Z/G35 Coupe engine (VQ35DE) is that they are rated at 287 and 280 hp respectively. With minor tuning such as intake, exhaust, y-pipe, a grounding kit, and minor ecu reprogrming, you can get 300hp with easy, do it your self mods.

Word is that Nissan had the Z at a little over 300 HP and ready for release. Then they "detuned" it. I hear they will have the higher output ECU and other goodies available from NISMO soon. Some things like the suspension pakage I mentioned earlier are already out. Just hold out a little longer EXA4DRIVER. I feel your pain. I was part of the preorder program back in 02. I ordered my Z in January and took delivery of it in September. I paid MSRP. Waited 8 months for that car, and it was worth it. I was one of the first in my city to have it. I couldnt go anywhere for the first 2 months without being mobbed by people at stores and gas stations with questions. It was kinda cool. You will love it. I assume you are already visiting my350z.com? Best forum out there.

Did someone say the RX8 handles better than the G35?! My friend and I test drove the RX8 (I even started a thread of my impressions of the RX8), and thought the handling was HORRIBLE. My gf has a G35 and the suspension is stiff, but the ride is quite comfortable.

Hehe Roy. I toldya already~ :)

I particularily am not a big RX-8 fan but weren't you the ones who drove the vehicle fully all seating positions(not sure it was you). Kind of making an unfair advantage of extra weight where it is not supposed to be, especially if you did not have the same conditions in the coupe. Also, the G35 and RX-8 posted the same skidpad of 92g.

Also, nice Prelide, I still think the last Generation Type-SH is one of the best looking Honda's ever.

Sorry, but I have no idea what you're talking about.

Roy, the RX8 I test drove had the best package (forgot what was it - sports/touring?) Was there a special "suspension package?"
