I am going to have the MZ3D unit from Caradvanced.com installed.
However, I was wondering if anyone who has installed this particular unit was able to run satellite radio with it instead of buying a seperate unit. I have been in touch with company, but I haven't gotten a clear answer yet. What I do know is that the stock sirius satellite radio option for the MS3 is not compatible. (I do not currently have any satellite radio installed stock or aftermarket) Any input would be helpful

Not that I have seen. I have it installed and there really isn't a place for it unless you wanted to buy another unit.

AM doesn't work in the US with this unit. I had it and returned it. No baseball or news FTL!

I just ordered the Caska CA3635 from a group buy on the other forum.

i don't think either has satellite radio.

here is a vid i took of what i am talking about.

i would say go with the Caska...
I have the caradvanced one and it is good and i love it but the price point is a bit high...caska is pretty much the same and personally looks like a better UI.
maybe the grass is always greener on the other side but yeah just giving my $.02

and no satellite

Well I have the unit already so I just need to get it in the car. Anyways thanks everyone for your input it was helpful. I cant wait to get this unit installed.

Wow... I spent several hours playing with one of these units and never did tinker with the AM, even though I personally listen to more AM than FM.

Posted 5 videos of the tinkering for folks to get a look at the unit, starting with this one:

As discussed in that video, the unit does not have the ability to control a satellite radio receiver, but it does have inputs you can use to connect a receiver- you just have to control it via its own hardware/interface. (This part starts around the 3:10 mark of the video)
