i like the mazda logo also.. but i do like the look of the autoexe grill too.. hmm,.. i like it either way, but you're right vulcanon, the painted bar looks so much better!! great job!

there ARE painted black grill pieces... they were made for the black MSPs... they're hard to tell but you can tell the difference from the normal black/unpainted pieces on the P5/ES/MP3

why chrome it out yourself when you can just grab the piece from a DX/LX?

xx=the 2 digit sticker number on the touch up paint bottle cap

BUT, the price is NOT worth it though.. it costs 54 bucks for the DEALER to buy it from mazda already... tack on the 60% markup to retail and you're asking for an asswhoppin

is this something that can be easily done by myself? i have access to a paintbooth and can figure out the color code with my friend who runs it. we just need to sneak in there real quick to paint it.

and doomer... look at the grill right underneath the hood. usually, it's black. now it's lazer blue. see?

it's not hard to do, I actually didn't take the piece off because I remember hearing that the clips can be broken really easily when you try to remove it. So I just masked the area before painting.
