There's going to be a new addition to the Spaz Chicken Family around June!

This will be our first. My wife an I have been together for 11.5 years (married 6.5) and we've recently decided the time was right. The business is doing well, we've got a new house and we're not getting any younger (I just turned 27, she's two years older).

We've only been trying (or rather not preventing it) for a couple of months and we found out last Friday... the day after my birthday. What a present! I've been going crazy to tell someone. We finally told her mom and step dad last night. We've got plans to tell my mom and grandma this weekend.

So CONTRATS to me!

It's one hell of a journey, emotional rollercoasters and all, but way worth it! Can't wait to see pics of the little one!

One bit of advice that really helped us, being first time parents, Sign up on www.babycenter.com. They have great info and the best baby forums that you can find! the forums are set up so you can be in a particular birth club based on the young one's estimated due date. HTH!!!

Actually, no it wasnt. Gas was the main factor, functionality for my business was next, then advertising.

I actually had my wife convinced that the 8 was a great family car.

We had our 2nd appointment yesterday (my first actually), and they did a the first ultrasound.

The baby is just under 1" long at this point. With a healty heartbeat of 169 bpm. We could actually see the heartbeat. It was pretty amazing. We should be able to hear the heartbeat next time.

They say everything is looking great. We have another appointment in about 3 weeks.

Well, now we know. It is not an "IT" anymore. Most of my family thought it was going to be a girl, but I had a feeling yesterday that it was a boy.

Money Shot:

I did want a girl, but I'm very happy that it's a boy.
