Headlight conversion

Hi Guys

What will it take to convert a 99' protege to the 2001-2003 spec. eg, the one with the 2piece headlight setup to the MP3/ P5 setup. I am just talking about the front of the car as the rear seems the same.
From what I can see by just looking at the 2 cars it will be the fenders, bonnet, front bumper,grill and headlights...Is there anything else that will need changing like the piece
where the bonnets rests on??( I dunno what you call it. Slam Panel??)

Has anyone done this mod on this board

i believe everything you listed is all you should need., but if you are going to get a front bumper, perhaps get the wings west one?

I am in South Africa and below is an example of the bumper that we get as standard. The MP3 style is availabe as a replacement. The WW would be great but I would need to import it. I was thinking of going with the MP3 style bumper and importing an Autoexe or DG lip.

I dont have the car as yet. I am still considering buying the car and was just weighing up the options. I currently

FYI the P5 has a diffrent headlight assembly than the MP3, MSP, Sedan. The P5 is the 2 peice, and the others are 1 peice.

no, the p5 has 2 bulbs, but is still one piece.

I mean the lighst are 1 peice, but there are 2 bulbs... Shoulda clarified that.

I like the green on that p5, wish it was available here when I bought mine but I like my midnight blue also, that one just reminds me of jaguar britsh racing green which is one of my fav's.
