2017 Mazda6 Sport Aftermarket LED Headlight Conversion?

I'm looking to swap my headlight housing for an aftermarket LED option in place of Halogen. I've read in other forums that the Touring model LED housing won't fit or has incompatible wiring. I don't just want to drop LED bulbs in the factory housing, as I've heard it doesn't illuminate the same due to the projector being designed for Halogen bulbs. Does anyone have experience with this? Any help is appreciated.
