I a just got back from a year deployment in Iraq, thought I would share some pictures, an interesting year, no doubt

Thanks for what you did brother. I got back in May from a year long deployment myself. It was no fun, but I experienced things that I would never experience here in the states. If you are referring to the number on his rifle, that is a easy way to identify your weapon if you store it with other ones, instead of grabbing each one and looking at the small ass serial number to figure out if it's yours or not. Some folks decorate or paint their weapons. As long as it's not too fat fetched.

It's actually a few thousand year replica of the tower of babel, there were ancient ruins all over the place where I was at, little town called Samarra. It was cool, pretty indiana jones type stuff

Here is an interesting set of photos, this is the Golden Mosque in Samarra, before, moments after, and a while after it was blown up, made a splash in the news back in Feb.
