Cheap MBC, cheap mounting solution :).

Everyone is using Zip Ties ... has anyone perminatally mounted the MBC somewhere ... the Hallman Pro is way to pretty and large to just zip tie somewhere.

Ohh ... dont get me wrong .. that works perfect for that type of MBC ... but the hallman is huge in comparison and is powdercoated red.

What is the best MBC available now?

IMO and the opinion of many of the local tuners ... the Hallman Pro Ex and the Greddy are top of the line ... i know several that have the JoeP as well and love it. It all depends on your application. My Hallman is way overkill for our car ... but it looks beautiful under the hood.

How much was it, and do you have pics now?

In that configuration ... almost 5 1/2 foot ... which makes it not plausable. Thus the need for a good mounting location.

WOW, I think you can get a used JOE mbc for like 30...?

The JoeP ... from what i understand is a great working unit... it looks like it was put together by a 5th grader with a home depot card though. The Hallman is sturdy and all billet designed. Very nice dual design with creep reduction built in. The look of the thing sold me on it.

I don't have any spikes. I have two turbo cars, both with DSBC's. No reliability or failure issues so far with over 91,380 miles combined on both cars. The MBC's put the boost right were I set them.
