Leather seats.

Who all got leather seats as an option with their P5's??? Please post some pics...................... post pics of any aftermarket leather seats too, preferrably black.

I have the factory option leather seats in my Protege 5. They are black and are nice. They hold up well with all the usage. Bazooka Joe has some nice custom, two-toned leather seats with protege 5 written on the upper part. They are nice......

....i am actually probably going to trade my leather seats with some 03.5 Mazda Speed seats (front and rear), with a member up in NH.

my driver seat is holding up well.....do you? 38K so far.......

The only decent one I could find in a hurry is of the back seats:

Fronts are the same, black w/yellow inserts, and all the leather inside the car is Katzkin (seats/door panels/dash panel).

I have the stock leather seats also. It is the same pattern as the picture posted above. However, after viewing several photos of aftermarket leather kits I have come to the conclusion that they just don't fit as smoothly as stock.

mine. i have the seat heater too. went on pretty smooth. took me about 5 hrs total. i did have some backing material removed from the old covers and sewn on the new ones for $50. i love my leather!!

Anyone have aftermarket leather that work with the side air bags?

We pick up our '02 on Friday, and want to dress it up a bit.

hm, i have leather seats from the german BJD special series, similar to your optioned ones.
came along with leather front/rear/doorboards.. had to replace shiftknob and steering wheel for perfect leather interior (thought)

I'll take some pics tonight and post them. I have the factory black leather interior. I believe everyone has a leather wheel and shiftknob, right? If so, then it's just the seating surface itself. The back of the front seats and the door inserts are vinyl made to blend in with the rest of the materials.

nice seats guys i really like the mazda emblem and the protege 5 sticked in, thats sick, two of my buddys have the protege es sedan and they have just regular black pleather, it looks sooo noce but un the winter u freez ur ass off!

You only freeze for the first minute or so. Then the seat warms up to body temperature and they're nice and warm. I love them and probably won't buy anything else in any car I buy.

Although I wish the center section was suede so you didn't slide as much during enthusiastic cornering.
