I was planning on doing the front bumper and hood. I was quoted at $2500. You got a better deal.Sure, full body PPF + piano Black inside + hydrophobic coating on all windows was around 4300 USD acording to current conversion.
This weekend I've done about 400km traveling in rain and bad weather and can say it was worth it
But this is my subjective opinion. I like to have a car that should last a long time

My state also requires front plates. Been driving here since 1984 without them, no ill effects.

So does California and I haven’t installed one on any car I’ve owned in over 50 years!
I warned my son to put a front plate on his Mercedes. In less than a month, he got pulled over for no plates. Local cops in my area don't bother us for plates, only state troopers will. CT troopers are anal about everything.

Exact match for the grille? Have to take the bumper cover off to install?
From what I see, it's an exact match that does not require the bumper to be removed. It attaches to the lower half by 3M tape.

It is an exact copy of the grill, both in terms of shape and texture.
For convenience when applying, I temporarily dismantled the number plate, nothing else. It is attached with double-adhesive tape. Just to be sure, I have fixed it behind the number plate with black tie wraps. There is no need for drilling or screwing.
Because my license plate is quite wide, I had to cut a small corner out of the left and right part of the new grill.

That is correct. I was able to fit this grill with the front plates on. My plates are standard size, so I had no issues cutting. It has 3M tape on it. It fits snug. It will not fall out. If you plan on buying this, get it from Amazon. Ebay is currently selling the same grill for $89.99. I just checked Amazon, it is selling for $26.14 with a 10% off. That's a good deal.

So it looks like you pretty much have to use the front plate in order to hide the vertical seam between the two pieces?
Yes, that's correct. Without it, it will look empty.

What was the symptom of your LR wheel bearing, or how did you figure out that it was your LR wheel bearing failing?

2018 CX-5 GX, 2013 3 Sport, 2011 Tribute GT
Rumble or roaring sound increased with speed. Originally considered it was on the right side since the sound would change with a left turn. When I checked it on jack stands I found the sound was actually on the left rear. It's a DIY but access to the four bolts is difficult and required heat and penetrating oil.
