- 2003 Mazda Protege5
So before I start with my issue I will address this:
Yes I have searched the forum, yes I have a base idea of what it could be, this thread is to get other opinions plus I have a video to help.
The issue I am having is that my Protege5 likes to vibrate quite a lot at idle, but will stop the instant ANY bit of throttle is applied. As you can tell in the short video, when I hit the throttle then let it idle again, it will go from smooth to all of a sudden rough and loud at idle.
From what I have read, the EGR valve can cause this, bad motor mounts can too, and possibly timing belt? This thread is simply to get you pro's out there to see if you have heard or know what this vibration is. If not then I guess all 3 will get done and hope for the best lol.
Video: (might have to turn up your speakers as it is a tad quiet.)

Thanks again to any help received.
