threw my back out friday wrenching on the miata, left me stuck on the lazyboy with a heating pad barely able to stand and walk all weekend.
Get a call on my way to work this morning that if i didnt move my 3 that it was gonna get towed cause the office building was paving today and no one in our office knew they were going to pave today...
it was a rather rough weekend and looks like its going to be a shitastic start to the week too....

Weekend was ok. Ran over a screw on Friday so my driver's front needs replaced. I was hoping I could get away with on the cheap with a patch but the tread is too low. Was hoping I could use them for the next two months, decide if I really wanted different wheels and/or find a clearance deal on summer tires this winter. I'm going to look at the OE wheels tonight and see if those tires can work until I switch to the winter set.
built a dresser/changing table for the nursery. Other than that, watched Ball State almost pull out a win against Iowa, watched Ohio State get out coached and out played. Bad weekend for the Big Ten.

yeah apparently they emailed our administrator who is on vacation.... no one in the office knew they were doing this til this morning....
luckily i got my 3 moved in time, i feel worse for a coworker that left his car here over the weekend (since our office is only 5 mins from the airport) and he flew to an out of town wedding and it got towed to and now he has to foot that bill...
i have a great set of OZs with summers still in good shape on them, that im selling at a great price right now....haha

i really wish i could make it out... but a Golf outing on Saturday and Sunday will likely get spent with me getting to play catch up on house work since i couldnt get off the Lazy-Boy this whole weekend...

Good to hear you were able to drive into work today! How is the back feeling? Don't go pushing the 3 out of the lot today either and mess up the back more. By lunch for your co-workers and watch them do it.
That sux Nate! Hope those other tires will suffice for you. I'm shopping for tires for the 3 now as well. Was hoping I could get another two months out of the OEM Turazna's and buy a summer set next Spring but Tam says they aren't confidence inspiring in the wet anymore. They are starting to squeal now too when making slow speed turns around town. Guess I could just throw the snow's on now and hope they don't get chewed up too much.
Bad weekend indeed for the Big Ten! Where did ND hide the Michigan football team? The last meeting in the series and they put up a goose egg?! That shocked me. OSU was def. outplayed, losing Braxton really hurt them. MSU let Oregon steal one but those Hawkeyes prevailed.

back is slowly feeling better, i can stand up, sit down and walk without being in pain but thats about it, i know i cant bend over or anything like that right now so i still have a ways to go... i just hope im better by this weekend cause i have a golf outing that i paid far too much to play in on Saturday.
and yeah the BigTen blew a chance to show they arent weak but i guess as much as id like to say the conference is a top level conference, i just dont think it is right now....

I thought ND was over rated going into the game but Michigan made them look great. Hoke may be out of a job if he can't beat Mich St or OSU. I don't know that Braxton would have really made a difference. He's not a good passer, the receivers seemed to miss a lot of balls and they had the run game shut down. I really thought Ball State was going to pull it out but the offense just could not move the ball in the second half to get first downs and use some clock. I don't think it matters what Nebraska does, Pelini is going to be fired.
Yeah, I had high hopes for the conference with the first weekend going so well. Only Northwestern and Wisconsin lost and Wisconsin was close to LSU and could've won. This weekend completely different, I felt like we were the new Big East.

OSU misses the run threat that Braxton brings but I think they miss him more in a confidence/leader type way. He's a playmaker and capable of turning the game around on one play. A few coaches better be worried about their jobs after these first two weeks!

Good news on the P5 front. I found a guy to take care of her mechanical needs and do it on the cheap. Less than half what that yo-yo quoted me back in march. Sad to say but I haven't driven her since we bought the CX5. Too much s*** that just isn't overly road worthy to trust.
I don't know about everyone else but Saturday night was GREAT! All things considered, the VT/OSU game was actually pretty close.

It was a good game to watch. VT has always been a fun team to watch over the years.
