The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

Yep! Miatas are worth $500-$1000 less this time of year. Are you looking to get rid of it quickly? When I was shopping my Speed3 around to dealerships they were offering me $3-4k less than what I ended up selling it for.

meh, kinda. I can keep it till April, but it would be nice to get rid of the payment so I can do other things. I'm driving to NY in April, it would be cheaper in the MSM but I won't be heartbroken if its sold before that.

Why do that and spend 13k, BRC? I think he should have just got a roller fox body and made his life a lot easier andhave some more money in his pocket. Creative, but sketchy.

Definitely BRC. I imagine half the people in Malibu see his car and laugh...and then they hear the thing roar and are in for a big surprise

Why build an MSP?

I've always hated this answer because it's not completely logical, but "because he wanted to..."

I think most logic goes out the window when it comes to modding any car more than a couple bolt-ons or to a class spec.

disclaimer* this does not make modding dumb, stupid etc. as I have taken my MSP beyond logical. It wasn't Because Race Car, it was BRB - Because Rickey Bobby

I mean, if you have the time, money and know-how; why not!?

Ive never met jess, but shes putting an LS6 in a Miata. She couldve easily just found a vette/transam/firebird shell and threw it in that. But what fun is that? Theres got to be a reason behind it...even if its just because its "badass"

I have WAY too much money invested into a FWD wagon that will have about 180whp. But I like the chassis, wrenching on her and the Protege community. :)

Scheduling an appointment to have the clear bra added to the MS3, they'll be coming out to the house to do it. They'll be using XPEL as opposed to the3M, XPEL is used by all of the Grand-Am teams.

Awesome. You're going to love it! I have the XPEL Ultimate on my STi. XPEL is the way to go, self-healing against swirl marks, better resistance to yellowing.

You going to get the whole hood done?

Albert at Block-A-Chip did my Speed3 and my STi, awesome guy who does great work.
