The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

Unique and would look pretty good IMO depending on the execution but like you said....$$$$. Just remember, you can't take it to the grave with you so might as well spend it. :D

Not to change the subject, but AutoBlog has some spy shots of the new 3.

I was gonna say, those spy shots look close to the other pics I've seen. But all the other mentions I've seen had it pegged as a 2014.

It doesn't look like the front wheel arches are going to be that aggressive and the headlights will come more to a point on the back instead of rounded. And the grill looks iffy, almost like they want to front plate to go under the mazda symbol.

Not a really shocker considering how the 6 and the CX-5 look.

Not exactly the same thing, but we are definitely on the same page. It's not hard to figure out what the 3 is going to look like.

Plus, I think if it was going to be a 2014 we'd of heard about it by now. (i.e. 2014 Mazda6)

It'll probably be just like the 6 and show up early in 2014 and be called a 2015.

Since Bill posted his plans for his Chevelle, That has me thinking and googling alot about my Camaro. Is there any rule on how bad/rusty the body can be? or is it all about the mechanical & frame being safe? with a unibody car it might be a mute point and disqualify it for being ruled unsafe but just wondering.

I would say that surface rust is acceptable provided it's not extensive. It's definitely going to be up to the particular club. Autocross is more lax than track days. I've never seen a car with rust at a track day.

Yeah, unless something structural is rusted, or unless parts are liable to fall off on course, rust doesn't really matter.
