Most are because they are driven by older people that are just out for a cruise. Also the reason insurance on a vette is cheaper than most other cars.

the skyactiv transmission was made to be smaller, lighter and more efficient. no surprise that the shifter is so different as well.

Who do you guys think is more accrurate KBB.com or Edmunds.com? I've always gone with edmunds because I fell it's closer to the market.

I appraised my mom's vette at private party and a good rating. KBB came back at $21,042 and Edmunds was $9,861. Huge difference and I don't see anyone paying $21k for a '99 base vette convertable with 53k miles

todays used car market is inflated due to the shortage of used cars. even junk 90's miatas are out there for $5K. i used to think edmunds was the better figure, but now, it is probably somewhere inbetween. like they said, look at what others are selling things. i was looking for a fun car and found dealers are way high, but people are sometimes selling at better prices. the same car can vary by $5K.

We're going for the lowest # so we can pay the least amount of tax. Since the lawyer agreed to use edmunds, mission accomplished. It just surprised me at the huge difference in the 2 numbers. After looking some and expanding my search on auto trader the KBB # seems to be the closer but their private party # is a little above most retail #s.

Did you see that news story where the guys tried to steal someone's vette and they couldn't drive it because it was stick?! I about died laughing, I just saw it on the news last night

Haha....

My brother is contemplating a Vette as a replacement for his TBSS. He'd have to get an auto though, because he has to have the seat too far back to fit comfortably, but then it's too far back to operate the clutch properly. Same thing with a Camaro SS.

I saw that, they need a role model...

Stopped by the Make A Wish offices, Ashley says hi again

How's her 3 holding up? :D

Good, but she says she attempted to change something on the headlight and lost something... so it doesn't work. I told her we can take a look at it but she refuses, so she's going to Medina to have it checked out, get new pads and oil change.

So far so good! It's kind of slow going for me right now because the college I went to does such a good job preparing students for the FAA Academy, so I've seen almost all of this stuff before. It was almost 4 years ago though, so I'm taking it all in as if I'm learning it all for the first time.

It will jump up a notch here at the end of next week though. Up until now, we've just been learning procedures and whatnot, but next Thursday we start running simulated problems, and that's where you have to put it all together. The days will go by fast then, but right now, it's boring as s***. lol

in other words, the days will fly by...

I'm cracking myself up but I only got about 2 hours of sleep last night.

Congrats Pablo!!! My 5yr I got a tie-tac with one ruby, 10yrs I chose a watch (probably retailed for $50) and for 15yrs I chose a painting of the ocean and in 2yrs I get to pick my 20yr gift. I'd settle for a delcious cupcake!

Speaking of used cars. I found this gem last Friday while checking out the new 6 at the local dealer.

I'm on nights this week, 3:30-midnight. But yea, we get a 20 minute break every hour, so plenty of time to stay caught up on my interwebz!

Congratulations, Pablo!! So happy that you finally found somewhere that you're lovin' and learnin' ... (cheers2)

Congrats, Pablo!!! Now can somebody help me find a good paying job that I like a lot. Hahaha. I could use it real bad right now.
