The chinacharger thread

Turbo was 10000 ksm, this only oil cooled turbo, in summer you need oil cooler. I see turbo like this with 65000 kms and its ok, EGR system clean!

The nozzle on the outlet adapter is so I can run a pure boost source to my wastegate. It will allow me to get faster response on my wastegate since my line going to it will be less then 6" long. It will also help me prolong the life of the wastegate since the diaphragm isn't being pulled/pushed on it will only be pushed on with the boost only source.
so what's the best way of doing this if you don't have the 3 bolt outlet flange? just put a fitting on the closest hardpiping?

If its burning oil when there is load it my be blow by causing crank case pressure and restricting the drain.

i'll update this thread after my car is completely road legal and i'm able to drive it more. i think i've driven the car a total of 25 miles so far.

Dude, look at his mid-range...

not the same turbo dummy. That turbo has a compressor wheel similar to a 2554r and a exhaust wheel the is smaller then a gt2052. The turbo I have is the same one another miata guy ran 263whp @ 14 psi w/ full spool around 4k.I should be able to spool mine faster seeing he only had a 1.8
