What have you done to your P5 today?

Finally.

good find larry

Damn you, Larry. Haha. Guess I need to keep an eye on Craigslist.

Dang that is awesome! Good find!

I called the guy on the way home from the Bristol Nascar race to see what the deal was with a 6wagon for parts. The guy says it is a total and wants to part it out. So I ask what he wants for the brake parts. His answer was "I have no idea what they go for." "How does $120 sound?" Of course I look at Jen and say $120, and she says wow, ok. We had to drive about an hour and a half out of our way but I think it was worth it. BTW I put the rears on. I like it! Butt-dyno says the car has better braking. Compared to the well-worn parts that I removed anything would be an improvement. Only thing left to do is figure out the e-brake cable. The 6 calipers have the exact opposite e-brake set-up compared to the P5. So if anyone has an idea let me know.

* patiently waiting for someone to throw some sort of Miata comment at me for my Protege jokes. (It's all too predictable)*

Well... I wouldn't call your P5 a P5 anymore. I don't even consider my P5 much of a P5 anymore... haha

Ok, Ok. I have a pile of rust that once resembled a P5. But mine has an engine... ;)

Found some wheels inexspensive wheels I liked only to find out their offset is 0 or 10 depending on the width but that's not going to work for me.

The p5 stock wheels are 6" wide and 50 offset correct?

It wasn't supposed to be until late summer, then possibly May/June. And I just talked to Shalon and she said ASAP. I did a double spin in my seat at my desk. I just got off the phone with my bank for a loan and will be getting a shipping quote at lunch. Hopefully I'll get it next week. I'm swapping Anthony's parts over to my silver P5 with him this weekend just in time for another P5 to show up. Haha. I love me some P5's. :D

Ahh, yes. But does it run? ;)

Yup... until you have to shut it off because it's getting too hot. I'm probably going to have to drive out there to fix it myself. Dad doesn't seem to have time to do it when working 70-80 hours a week. can't imagine why...
