What have you done to your P5 today?

Yeeeeaaaaaah....... no.

The black one is my new project car and won't be getting parted out. Sorry, mate. :)

Found some wheels inexspensive wheels I liked only to find out their offset is 0 or 10 depending on the width but that's not going to work for me.

The p5 stock wheels are 6" wide and 50 offset correct?
i think they are 6.5" +50.

It wasn't supposed to be until late summer, then possibly May/June. And I just talked to Shalon and she said ASAP. I did a double spin in my seat at my desk. I just got off the phone with my bank for a loan and will be getting a shipping quote at lunch. Hopefully I'll get it next week. I'm swapping Anthony's parts over to my silver P5 with him this weekend just in time for another P5 to show up. Haha. I love me some P5's. :D
Cool mang. are you going to drive it this summer and work on the swap this winter?

Probably not. My cold, dirty garage + winter = no motivation. I'll drive it for a couple weeks then pull the motor and start the planning, building and measuring 3 times and cutting once. Like I keep saying, it won't be done until spring 2013. Maybe. I'm not going to rush this project. :)

Just spitballin there. I really had no clue they would be that narrow. Just another reason the stockers gotta go!

Yup. They're narrow. Lighter weight, lower rolling resistance with more narrow tires... everything that's geared toward a car that supposed to get good mileage.

I've been looking at 6" wide wheels because I thought that was stock but can't find what I want in the right offset. I have found a 7" that will work

Nate, 16x7 +45 is a nice look on the P5.

Looks good Jeff. I wouldn't mind some Mazda5 wheels, well any stock 17" Mazda wheel for that matter. Problem is they are all heavy as hell.

that would be nice, I'm thinking about 15" wheels so the ride can be softer incase I want to throw the eibach's from my MSP on the p5 when I switch to coil-overs. What I've found so far is a 30 offset and with a 185 wide tire the calc I'm playing with says it'll work but I have my doubts. Supposedly only out .6" further than stock but if it came with a 195 on a 6" rim, I don't think I want to do 185 on a 7" rim

well... being as i was looking at some classic muscle for a 3rd car... i dont really need a p5. yours is just a nice example... and being in the south, it is probably rust free.

Penis envy in the design room
I guess it's all the safety BS required in cars now. I like the personal feeling you get from smaller cars vs. driving in soundproof marshmallows.
I'm pretty sure my p5 could park inside that Yukon on the right. Worst part is, I'm still stock height, at least until Saturday :D
