The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

Well I know nothing about working on them but have always loved the Typhoon and Syclone.

I'd take the Jeep over the Chevy any day.

if they cost the same then yes im taking the jeep, but at 7-10k difference for similar year/mileage FUUUUUUUUCCCCCCKKKKKK TTTTHHHHHAAAATTTT!!! im too much of a cheapass to shell out that much more...

TGIF!!! I'd drive the TB SS or the Jeep SRT-8 but would much rather have one of these in the garage.

HELLS YEA!!! syclone/typhoons were awesome, yet another one of those vehicles IMO that was too far ahead of its time for its own good....

Agree with you completely Levi and even if money was no object I'd buy the SS over the SRT-8 if mileage is similiar.

Gotta agree too about the Syclone and Typhoons....time for GMC to revisit them? (yes)

Of course you'll save money. In the beginning. Then you'll be putting all that money back into your SS because they don't hold up. (lol2)

Whaddaya mean Josh, you wouldn't want to work on this from time to time? lol

Now this was a PITA to work on...thankfully I didn't have to do too much while we had it.

Yay first phone post.
It's to hard to quote with the phone but I'm with Jeff and Levi on the cyclone and typhoon. I thought gm used the gn 3.8 for them. I've only ever seen 2 that i can remember

coming from a Ford salesman, your opinions on the "competitors" should be taken with a grain of salt :P

Well, if I was being a salesman, I would've thrown in a Ford SUV that would trounce both of them. Alas, nothing comes close outside of the Edge Sport, so I had to go with the lesser of two evils. :)

For realz though, TrailBlazers are my least favorite cars to sell. They ALWAYS have problems (throwing engine codes, bearings constantly going out, etc.) I've sold two and both have been back in the shop. Thank God both customers bought warranties.

Jess, post the video of that black Jeep you had on your FB a couple days ago. That thing made my jaw drop. And Josh's brothers TBSS sounds gnarly and is a sharp looking truck. And quick to boot! But I don't know trucks.

So wait....you've only sold 2 in your career, yet they somehow managed to top your list of least favorite cars to sell? That doesn't seem like enough experience with them to make an assessment like that.

I will say that most 360's that I've worked on over the years have been beat to s***. It seems to be one of those vehicles that people don't like to take care of? That's why you see them at every corner where there's a used car lot, with a ton of miles, for like $5000 or something. I think it's more the owner than the vehicle.

FWIW - When I had to get towed home a few weeks ago, the driver said he tows more Jeeps than any other make. :D

There area a couple of them running 9's in the 1/4. Good ole Mopar. The only things chysler did right was build pretty stong motors for straight line speed.

Normally we wholesale them because of their issues. I see all types of vehicles and those are usually the trade-ins that end with a list of problems. The only other vehicle that gives us headaches are Jaguars.

I think they're junk vehicles. Hell, I had a former GM lobbyist as a customer last month and even he admitted they were junk.
