NEMOC Random BS Thread

So three things that made me snicker and brought a smile to the face tonight.
1. Yellow Mustang with a double decker wing on it.. s*** you not, spit beer on a friend as a result.
2. Honda Accord with twin fart can exhaust before I got on 495N sounded like 2 kids locked in a trash can blowing raspberries through a microphone.
3. The MS3 can still hit 110 up the on ramp and shut it down in time to merge onto the highway.

ya, i guess with the charger on it should keep it warm enough, i always put min on a piece of plywood in my basement...batteries hate below freezing temps

Specs says the charger will work as low as -20F. Car will be in an unheated garage that is part of the house. Not really worried. You should be fine with your garage, not sure why you take it out. Besides the battery should be in a ventilated area. Not sure how well a basement is ventilated.

Morning all. Couple of more car events this month and then bye bye Mia. Only driving her on weekends now.

Morning folks!

MSM got hit last night. A bit of a bummer, but she left a note with all insurance information and stuff.

Fender is caved in. I had to pull it out (after taking pics) by hand to drive it.

I saw that pic Phen and it looks pretty rough. Glad they left a note! How the hell did they hit you that bad in a parking lot?

On a side note... The MSM rolled 40k this weekend. ;)

Wasn't in the parking lot. It was sitting on the street outside a friend's house. I just couldn't get a good picture until I got to that parking lot.

Damn, what is with drivers in Ohio? I got rear ended in the waggin over a week ago!

^^^WTF and sorry to hear Phen. Have you called it in yet to make sure she didn't give bogus info?

Howdy NEPOC!!!

Been too busy at work to handle it. I'll do it this evening.

Hope it's legit! Speaking of, I need to follow up with an insurance company....

Nokian Nordman 2's will be mounted and balanced on my steelies tomorrow. Going to be right around $270 out the door including taxes for four....not a bad deal.

Morning everyone. Have a safe and fun trip Mahk and that photo is crazy.

Fall meet is coming up Kyle, gotta give Mahk some time. If he thinks about planning it now he'll more than likely forget his underwear for his trip to FL. (evil)

spent yesterday afternoon turning my project bike for my sister from this:

Still a bunch of work to do, but the big things are taken care of. Will need friction shifters, a seat and tubes/tires, then I'll tear it down and repaint the frame.

Nice!

Just picked up a bike for Amanda last weekend. We're going for a ride this afternoon in Nashua. We started with used bikes at a local shop but they were either over priced or really worn out. She test rode some new bikes at Goodale's in Nashua and liked the Specialized Hardrock. We left without buying figuring we'd search again on Craigslist now that we knew what to look for. Later that day, I even found the exact one on Craigslist that someone only rode a few times. We were set to drive down when a stop at EMS changed our mind. They had a comparable Felt Q520, customer returned it. The sales guy gave me 25% off retail and it looks like it was ridden once. That was cheaper than the Hardrock we found on Craigslist, so we snagged it right then and there. Reviews online were comparable with the only downside being it's slightly heavier weight, but at the price we paid, it was a no brainer.
