You can call them a MAP sensor if you want, but it not used for the "load" parameter on our fuel maps. Many cars and the aftermarket ECU's and piggybacks have a MAP sensor used to determine the amount of fuel to inject into the engine. Our car does NOT. It uses the MAF signal as the load to the engine. The mitsubishi MAP or boost sensors are not used as a fuel parameter. They are simply there to determine if the EGR is working. One is there to make sure it opens and one is there to make sure it closes.
