So, on my way back from the gym, I get forced into hitting a lowered manhole cover (Groton traffic/drivers aggravate me) and now I have this odd sound coming from the passenger side of the car.
Sounds almost like I have something stuck in one of the tires, but after taking the two passenger side tires off, I find nothing. So, I get the tires back on and drive around the apartment complex, noise is still there, still sounds as if something is stuck in the tire, but it's more of a squeak than something striking the ground. I have no idea what it is, and now it's too dark to take a look. Guess I'll be walking to work in the morning for fear it has something to do with the brakes. If anyone has an idea on what it may be please chime in.
I'll summarize:
Noise is repetitive (as if something is stuck in the wheel)
More of a squeak than a strike
RPMs and clutch engaged/disengaged have nothing to do with it.
Nothing hanging under the car (so no broken dangly pieces)
