NEMOC Random BS Thread

Happy birthday Will!

I got you on Facebook, but I'll post it again here.

Looked over the tread last night, but it was getting dark. I'll take a closer look at the tire when I get out of work today.
BTW: I only hear it at very slow speeds (sub 10mph)

the steel belts are inside the tire... youll want to look on the sidewall for any buldging or bumps/bubbles..

Watched on news last night. I said, "Oh noes! Another Mazda down."

"...attempted to flee on foot" Yea, he got 20 feet from his car and was piled on by several state troopers.

I was bored at work yesterday so I actually watched the video on WBZ. I had two favorite parts. 1 when the car broke out of the attempted box-in theres a unmarked cruiser that comes sliding in @$$-backwards and 2 the first trooper that gets there starts to beat crap out of him, the use of force will of course be reviewed but I found him deserving, specially cause he messed up a Mazda...that wasn't even his.

Cops could always use a driver mod. My uncle was chief of Warren City for many years and he said those guys couldn't drive to save their damn lives.

An undisclosed state police officer who happened to observe an autoX event a couple years back shed some light on why cops dont like autoX'ers at all...

"Because if it came down to a chase, you guys could out drive them in your little toy cars"

EDIT: As for the cop throwing punches... im all for it.. if youre enough of an idiot to run like that, you should expect to have the dumbass beat out of you (even though it never works)

I'm completely for a police officer using force if needed. Obviously, walking up to a probably innocent person and slugging them isn't cool... but if the person is possibly guilty, and acting like a total fool, subdue them. I honestly feel that the more police officers act like there are rules for their behavior, the harder a suspect will screw with them because in their mind, they can't be touched.

Yeah sucks for the owner of that car... What would their insurance even say to that? Assuming they have insurance.

Because I think it's funny as hell.....

Idk, kind of weird circumstances. The driver had a RI license I believe so he might have insurance in RI in which case I presume the defendant's insurance would have to cover damage. If not then it might be covered under uninsured motorist but I'm not particularly sure because the defendant was the operator of the vehicle.
