Hypertech!!!

So i just installed my hypertech programmer and it made an unbelievable differance a lot more power and a ton better throttle response. It was really easy to install just plug in and answer like 3 questions and tuned its awesome i love it.

sounds interesting. anyone else agree with the review above? first i'm hearing of a plug n play device which actually has that kind of affect on performance. other than the dashhawk, but from what I've read that sounds more like to keep your car running well and correctly once you get into serious modding.

I am super-leary of these kind of programming devices... the number of popped motors on Cobb over-the-counter tunes is proof enough, i'd be careful.

Here is my review:

It is definitely power that you can feel. 1st & 2nd gear are uninhibited. 1st pulls so hard,that you have to shift within seconds(if you floor it). 2nd is not as frenetic as first,but it is very strong. In the other gears, it pulls hard up to and beyond redline. At 6300 rpms, the power is still rising. I only added 200 rpm to the rev limiter. I am seeing about 2 psi of extra boost up top. The car pulls strong from 3000- 6500 rpm. It is insane at times.I have not measured afr's as of yet, but I would say the numbers would be in the acceptable range. Between the HyperTech flash and the CP-E RMM, the power really gets to the ground. I would strongly recommend installing an RMM , if you pick up this flash

any datalogs to back that up? Many people who have blown motors thought the same.

i posted this to let people know its an inexpensive way to get more power and torque. You can be leary if want, but as of right now the car is running top notch

Not trying to be a jerk, but my car was running great and pulling hard before the engine chucked a rod down the highway.

Do yourself a favour, and buy or borrow something to monitor KR, AFR and fuel pressure. You don't have to do it forever, but do it for a little while.

I'm not saying the Hypertech is a bad product. I am just insisting that you make sure you know it is safe for your engine.
