AEM UEGO install

Sub. I wanna hear anything else about a wideband that I can get my hands on. Is Uego the only way to go?

hardly... there are MANY options. innovative makes nice ones... prosport has one, obviously autometer... plenty of ways to go.

yes there are many many different ones....

if you want some bling gauges get a PLX DM-100 OBDII Scan Gauge with what ever sensor modules you wanna daisy chain... but these things are not cheap

doesnt it matter what elevation he's at , how much boost, etc etc

yes and yes both will affect the afr... think about it in hiking terms... hikers often pass out while hiking way way way up in the mountains due to the air being less dense(I think thats correct term i just woke up) and temps also play a huge part of it as well. The reason why the factory tune sucks is it has to account for all conditions.

effect it yes, but they will only need to be adjusted for if they change... as long as you stay at the same boost, same altitude, same temp, same atmospheric pressure, same fuel quality, same... etc etc etc, your tune will be perfect if done correctly. but thats not the world we live in.. which is why you need to be careful.

11:1 AFR is a ratio of parts of air to parts of fuel. 11:1 will always be 11:1 weather you are in Colorado or florida. A tune made in florida may not read the same in colorado though, but what the numbers mean as a safe zone stay the same.

much better said than the way I put it....

i have the AEM and when im cruising it usually reads somewhere around 15, give or take a few decimals. under boost it reads 10. its not tuned but i have a reflashed MSP ecu if that helps

is it a steady 15afr cruising mine jumps, at idle im at 14.3-15 but never more under boost 10.
