What have you done to your P5 today?

lol been DUB.Just been buying parts here and there have everything pretty much just taking my time doing it.

Ahhh, well I just remember your wtb for mani, turbo and s-pipe in ur sig not too long ago so I figured you just started piecing it together. Congrats! I'm T - 10days (dance)

Well cash for clunkers was good for something...the local pull a part had 2 late model mpv's in it. nabbed the wiper switch, sweet variable intermittent relief on the g/f's p5 now

installed MSP rear brakes....now if I could get the caliper from the other front from the pull a part I would be happy. Stupid wheel lock. Nothing anyne told me on how to remove it worked.

Cash for clunkers got me more than double what my truck was worth and put me in a clean P5, so it worked out for me.

Take a strong drill with a big bit in there and just drill straight through the wheel lock.

On another note, I bought some FD 16x8 rims off the FS forum today. Now to start saving up for tires and coilovers for autox next year.

What is the advantage of the MSP brakes? Are they a straight bolt on?

they make twist sockets to remove wheel locks. If not find a socket you dont care about that just barely doesnt fit on the lock and hammer it on

Hows boost my friend? No problems since you fixed the tuning?

No real problems so far. I have an oil leak at the return line but it's not bad at all. I also still have a small coolant leak somewhere that is apparent once I step on it. The car runs great. All the numbers are good. Knock on wood lol.

I'm actually going to be upping the boost from stock to 8 psi this weekend and trying to tune it right. If I can't I'll just bring it back down.

I would go 10 if I wasn't afraid of blowing up the transmission. Besides, it is my primary mode of transportation every single day to campus so there's no way I'm risking it. I actually decided today to just stay at stock boost instead of upping the boost and maybe creating some problems. I still don't know where my coolant leak is and if it's seeping a bit into the pistons, I'd rather not speed up the process of ******* up the car.

Nice...(whispers..go 10) lol
