For the first time in 5 days, I drove it!
I've been working VERY slowly and methodically to remove a snapped bolt from the frame by CAREFULLY drilling it out and then re-tapping the hole. Getting a good, powerful drill down in the passenger side is a hell of a chore with all the A/C lines there. Then, the tap wrench was no walk in the park to turn with such limited space. All-in-all a valuable learning experience.
Well, I had been working to fix that, trace down a vacuum leak (needed a new TB gasket), and remedy a coolant leak (cracked hose going to TB). After taking Monday night off, I got it all back together last night, unfortunately I did not have the patience or expertise to get the SLS passenger side mount installed. Probably a good thing, as I am ordering the revised steel bracket now after seeing the posts about the failed aluminum ones. I did get the front SLS bracket installed on Saturday with absolutely no problem, and damn, the car already feels more solid. My stock front mount was in pretty bad shape, so I can only imagine what the rear one looks like.
