What have you done to your MSP today?

FedEx, just dropped of my new kenwood kdcmp142(nothing fancy) with free ipod cable and of course remote. Need to install it, along with an oil change. (thumb)

I havent had a cd player that works in the msp, for atleast 1 year or more. I'm happy.

So if anyone wants the stock Kenwood for cheap make an offer, all offers welcome. And it needs ribbon fix or whatever fixed so it can play cd's, the radio works.

just the red one, no ABS light (ever).

I'm jus' sayin'... If the check engine light comes on, what do you do first; do you check your oil and water levels or rebuild the engine? Start with whats easy... if it works then you don't have to do what's hard.
1. Check your fluid level and fluid condition in the reservoir, and while you're at it, change the fluid anyway. It's fluid... it gets old. And besides, it's not that hard. Or you could just bleed 'em, then top off the fluid level.
2. Check your brake lines and fittings for leaks & condition.

If neither of those things do the trick, you've spent very little time and money and ruled out the most likely culprits. Then, if it were me, I'd prolly go to the brake shop (someone reputable, who won't try to sell you a new "McGuyver valve and fittings") and have them check out the master and slave cylinder.

haha last thing I'll be doing is taking it to a shop. but my plan was basically what you'd laid out, plus a set of rear pads and rotors, possibly SS flex lines so I feel like bleeding the brakes is necessary. lol

Good man...
BTW, on Ebay right now they're selling the Russel/Edelbrock SS lines (all four corners) with 2 still available. Bad news? $132 shipped... but I hate to skimp on parts that are responsible for making me stop, cuz there may come a time when I need to do that(evil)

I think I could do about the same from ken. its something to check into... and honestly I'm not in a huge rush. Maybe I should be, but I'm moving this weekend, so I'm just gonna have to count on my car stopping for another week. lol

Is it bad that I just let out a sloppy fart in the elevator here at work right before I got to my floor and two people go on as I got off?

I guess I'm still getting used to this new "wastegate actuator."

And no, they did not know me, but the chinese food I had for lunch is tearing me apart...
